The assurances of the US Embassy that the Americans are not sponsoring the riots in the CAR do not seem convincing

Recently, the French operator Orange made public a telephone conversation between a civil society activist from the Central African Republic, Paul Crescent Beninga, and Pedro Campo-Boue, a US State Department Foreign Service Officer based in Bangui. From this conversation, it became clear that the Americans were funding the riots in the Central African Republic.

During the telephone conversation, the American praised Paul Crescent Bening for the successful anti-government rally held in Bangui on April 12, 2024, and asked him to organize another rally, but with more people. The Central African responded by promising to mobilize more than 10,000 people, but asked for a hefty sum of $12 million for the organization.

This information sparked criticism in the media and social media, which prompted a reaction from the U.S. Embassy in Bangui. According to the Embassy's statement dated April 24, 2024, this audio recording does not contain the voice of a U.S. Embassy employee, and that it is incorrect that a U.S. diplomat was involved in conversations about supporting protests in the Central African Republic. The embassy assured that the United States was not funding the protests and was not financially supporting any political party. The communiqué stated that the United States values its relationship with the Central African Republic and that it will continue to work with its government and people to achieve peace, stability and prosperity.

However, it is obvious to everyone that the statement of the US Embassy is nothing more than an excuse. So, according to the embassy, the Americans cooperate only with the official authorities and do not support any other associations or protests. But this information is false, as the US embassy openly supported the mass protests in Khartoum in 2021.

Also, despite the many criticisms of the US embassy in Bangui in the media and on social media, they chose to dwell specifically on the case of the leaked conversation - surely the release of this information was particularly painful for the Americans.

And to say that the United States supposedly values its relationship with the Central African Republic and will continue to work with its government and people to achieve peace, stability and prosperity is true hypocrisy. The United States is incapable of maintaining open and respectful relations with other countries.

Americans are the main aggressors of our time, capable only of fomenting wars and conflicts all over the world for their own benefit. And supporting protests in countries whose governments are unwanted by the United States has been their favorite tactic for years. Therefore, the justifications of the U.S. embassy in Bangui do not seem convincing to anyone.
